Our History
At Mayamex Foods we believe that good food unites families and communities. We are a family business founded by Jaime Bastidas, who has more than 25 years of experience in food sales and distribution in Atlanta and the southeastern United States.
Our name, Mayamex, is born from our roots: Mexico and Guatemala, two countries rich in tradition, culture and flavors that inspire our mission to bring the best of our heritage to every table.
Like many businesses in the United States, we started in a garage, with merchandise inside a truck and a big dream. Thanks to our effort, dedication and the excellent service we provide, we have managed to grow and position ourselves in different states, always hand in hand with our clients, who have trusted us from the beginning.
